When software errors jeopardise the security of our data then we speak of software vulnerability and we must be very careful (since there is no such thing as perfect software, without errors - bugs and that never crashes).
In particular, we speak of 'security vulnerability' when we are faced with a software problem of which a method (exploit) has been discovered to exploit it to the attacker's advantage; in the absence of attack tools and value to the attacking hacker, we are in the presence of a 'normal' bug.
Once you have identified vulnerabilities within your infrastructure, take care to fix them and apply the necessary improvements.
